La Crau en Provence... a small Riviera village where Senteurs du Sud was born...

As a child, Anne Bérardengo went with her grand-mother picking up violets cultivated with love, and gathered in delicate bouquets, with a sweet mallow, to sell them around.

Anne learnt how to make them slowly macerate to make violet water.
As a chemist, working in the world of cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry, she created Senteurs du Sud in 2003 with a first range of 12 scents, one for each month of the year, existing in body care and home products.

Senteurs du Sud, range of products designed keeping the respect of nature, authenticity and quality in mind, draws its concept from different southern countries in the world.

A strong ethic around nature, human and animals respect.

Nature: fragrances, coming from Grasse, are formulated from natural extracts. Candles are presented in recycled glass containers. Cotton and raphia fibres used to wrap products are natural. Argan oil care products are composed by ingredients from organic agriculture.

Human : manufacturing of presentation bags are made by associations of help centers. Argan oil is directly bought from an association of women in difficulty in Morocco.

Animals : products are not tested on animals and there is no animal ingredient in the products composition.
